How do you think people feel when they walk into your home? Does your home make them feel stressed, anxious, overwhelmed, or uneasy? Think about how you feel when you walk into somebody's home that is disorganized or consumed with clutter. Try this experiment.
Walk into your home and stop at the entryway. What is the first thing your eye is drawn to? Is it the pile of paper in the kitchen, or the clutter in the entryway? Is it the pile of magazines in the corner of the den, or all the chatzkies displayed? Walk into each room and evaluate what you see and how it makes you feel. Take notes and think about the changes you want to make in your home this season and the year to come.
